UEHIRO Research Division
UEHIRO Research Division aims to explore and reconstruct ethics in the post-growth era from an interdisciplinary perspective, rooted in Japanese spirituality and ethics.
Toward that goal, we conduct academic research from diverse perspectives, including public policy, traditional knowledge and thought, anthropology, psychology, and Japanese culture and philosophy then give back the results to society.
Research Division of Kokoro fulfilment
Our division conducts research on mental well-being from three perspectives: humanities, social sciences, and neuroscience. Through these research activities, we aim to deepen the understanding of mental well-being, achieve a comprehensive understanding, and continuously create new values for a more peaceful and enriched society.
Research Division on Social Common Capital and the Future
Inheriting the philosophy of "social common capital" advocated by the internationally acclaimed economist Hirofumi Uzawa, we will conduct interdisciplinary research on the nature and future of social common capital, focusing on fields such as education, healthcare, and the environment.
