IFOHS Researcher Yasushi awarded the Conference Outstanding Award at Annual Meeting of Japanese Association of Administrative Science

IFOHS Researcher Yasushi Watanabe’s paper “Do Algorithms Make Workers Happy? The Relationship between Algorithmic Management and Well-being in Gig Work” was selected for the Conference Outstanding Award at the 28th Annual Conference of the Japanese Association of Administrative Science, held in Takamatsu, Kagawa, from November 15-16.
The work of Dr. Watanabe, who recently completed his PhD and now continues his research at IFOHS, has repeatedly been published in high-ranking journals and explores various topics related to the socio-psychological factors in the workplace, employee well-being, the impact of telework, and the effects of AI and relational mobility on work engagement.
