Associate Prof. Kameyama Receives Award from The Japan Federation of Societies for the Study of Religions

A research project led by Associate Professor Takahiko Kameyama, titled “A Comprehensive Study of ‘Learning’ in Japanese Buddhism: Toward the Construction of International Japanese Buddhist Studies,” has been selected to receive the 2025 Research Encouragement Award from The Japan Federation of Societies for the Study of Religions.
The research project aims to develop a new international framework for Japanese Buddhist studies by examining the ideas and cultural practices of “learning” passed down within Japanese Buddhism.
