A research group led by Professor Seiji Kumagai at IFOHS has developed the “Protestant Catechism Bot” (also called “Catechism Bot”). Traditionally, a catechism is a manual for religious instruction that presents Christian teachings in a question-and-answer format. By digitizing this framework, Catechism Bot provides an interactive AI platform to discuss and answer users’ spiritual questions and concerns, making Christian knowledge more accessible to a wider audience.
