IFOHS Prof. Kumagai to deliver lecture at “ICT Collaboration Seminar 2025” in December

IFOHS Professor Seiji Kumagai is planned to give a lecture at the ICT Collaboration Seminar 2025, an annual public seminar focused on promoting knowledge and development in Information and Communication Technology. The seminar is jointly organized by the Kanto Bureau of Telecommunications, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and the Kanto Information and Communications Cooperation Association.
Professor Kumagai’s lecture, titled “Toward a Society Filled with Peace and Vitality through ‘Traditional Knowledge × Technology’”, will explore the potential of “traditional-knowledge technologies” in contemporary society from perspectives of the preservation of history, identity, and wisdom, drawing on details of the BuddhaBot and Philosophical AI technologies developed by Professor Kumagai and his team.
