Public Dialogue “Do Different Cultures Mean Different Minds? – Adventures in Cultural Psychology”
How does culture shape our minds?
Cultural psychologist Professor Shinobu Kitayama (University of Michigan / Specially Appointed Professor at Kyoto University), widely renowned expert in empirical research in psychology and neuroscience across the globe, will discuss his new book “Do Different Cultures Mean Different Minds?”. Alongside IFOHS Director Prof. Yukiko Uchida of Kyoto University, the event will explore new horizons in understanding the human mind from the frontline of cross-cultural psychological research.
