Women’s participation in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education and careers) has long been a challenge. While numerous studies and policies have been implemented worldwide, progress has been slow.

Beginning with the critical question “Are we overlooking the fundamental factors that drive women away from STEM?”, this workshop brings together researchers and professionals from industry and academia to explore novel approaches to this issue.

The workshop will be held at Inamori Center at Kyoto University from November 27 to 29, 2025, with support from IFOHS.
