14th International Haruki Murakami Symposium Successfully Held with Support of IFOHS

On July 5th and 6th, the 14th International Haruki Murakami Symposium was held at Kyoto University, hosted by the Haruki Murakami Research Center of Tamkang University (Taiwan) and supported by the Institute for the Future of Human Society.
The symposium represents an international event re-examining the works of Japanese author Haruki Murakami, and this year’s theme centered around “Partnerships in Haruki Murakami’s Literature”. The symposium featured a keynote lecture by Prof. Toshio Kawai (Professor Emeritus of the Institute) and a brief appearance of IFOHS Director Yukiko Uchida in the introduction.
