IFOHS Professor Seiji Kumagai and AI engineer Prof. Toshikazu Furuya (both co-founders of the University-based startup Teraverse Inc.) have jointly developed a new AI system called “Twinny.”

Designed to replicate the speaking style, personality, and emotional tone of influencers and celebrities, Twinny offers users a conversational experience that closely mirrors interactions with real individuals.

The project was featured in major Japanese media outlets including The Nikkei and The Sankei Shimbun (both published on July 1, 2025).
