2024.10.22

The Institute for the Future of Humanity and Society will hold the 2024 Intensive Lecture on the Science of the Mind, entitled ‘Uncovering the Mysteries of the Mind and Culture’, from December 19th to 21st.

The intensive lecture series is a unique event in which top researchers from Japan and overseas give intensive lectures on the science of the mind over three days, and also hold discussions with the audience.

This year we will welcome Prof. Shinobu Kitayama (University of Michigan), Prof. Keiko Ishii (Nagoya University), and Prof. Nobuhito Abe (Kyoto University) as speakers. Through lectures and discussions on the latest research results by researchers at the forefront of cultural neuroscience, cognitive science, and cultural psychology, the lecture series aims to explore and highlight the relationship between culture and the mind from a variety of perspectives.
