このたび、人と社会の未来研究院 社会的共通資本と未来 寄附研究部門の渡邉研究員が、Funding the Commons Tokyo 2024に登壇します。渡邉研究員は、寄付募集に関する研究で博士号（経営科学）を取得しており、公共財を支える上での寄付の活用について講演する予定です。
　社会にとって必要不可欠な公共財をいかに支えていくかは世界的な課題であり、その解決のためには、学際的なアプローチのみならず、社会の様々なセクターの協働を必要とします。Fund the Commonsは、公共財のファンディングに関する国際会議であり、世界各国での開催を経て、2024年は東京にて開催されます。

　We are pleased to announce that Dr. Fumitaka Watanabe, a postdoctoral researcher of the Research Division on Social Common Capital and the Future, Institute for the Future of Human Society, will be a speaker at the international conference “Funding the Commons Tokyo 2024.” He obtained his Ph. D. in management science and will present on utilizing philanthropic giving to fund public goods.
　Supporting essential public goods is a complex global challenge that demands an interdisciplinary approach and collaboration among various sectors of society. “Funding the Commons” is an international conference on funding public goods, which will be held in Tokyo in 2024 after being held in other countries worldwide.
