In November, IFOHS Professor Seiji Kumagai took part in a panel discussion held as part of a symposium at the United Nations COP30. The theme of the discussion was “Delivery on Human Needs in the 21st Century.”

During the session, Professor Kumagai presented an overview of the Japan’s Cabinet Office Moonshot Goal 9, part of a set of ambitious long-term science and technology targets set by the Japanese government, for which he serves as Program Director.
