Program-Specific Professor

Specialty field:Agricultural science, Southeast Asianstudies

I am interested in nature and society in the tropics, particularly in Southeast Asia. The population center of the world is shifting from the temperate zone to the tropics throughout the 21st century. This must have crucial impacts not only on global politics and economy but on the progress of science and technology and global environmental issues. I am exploring the questions that how we are going to develop ourselves and what possibilities are embedded in this development.
